Content stored on your device
Draft manuals, step text, selected or captured photos, annotations, publishing settings, and export files are stored on your device. The app does not require an account and contains no advertising or analytics SDK.
Publishing and hosted content
Only when you choose Publish does the app send the manual title, summary, step text, images, annotations, optional access-password protection, and expiry setting to the publishing service configured in the app. The service stores the hosted copy until you revoke publication. An expiry date blocks access but does not itself delete that copy.
Public access and view counts
A manual without a password can be viewed by anyone who has its stable link or QR code. Passwords are stored by the publishing service as one-way hashes. The service keeps a basic aggregate view count and does not create a reader account or device fingerprint.
Camera, microphone, and speech recognition
Camera access is used only to capture step photos. Microphone and Speech Recognition access are used only when you start speech input. Speech recognition is provided by Apple and may process audio under Apple's privacy terms; Huafu Apps does not receive the recording.
Deletion and support
Delete local drafts in the app or remove the app to delete its local data. Revoke publication before deleting a published manual to delete its hosted text, images, and record. Support emails are used only to respond to your request; email appsupport.hf@gmail.com for privacy questions.
